Baccalaureate results 2022

At the last session of the 2022 baccalaureate, almost all the students were admitted (except one) with a high number of very good or good honors.

What is most important is that the majority of our final year students were able to obtain one of their priority wishes on Parcoursup.

It is important to take note of what the baccalaureate is today, namely a certificate of completion of secondary studies and nothing more.

Incidentally, as early as 1950, Michel Debré then, in 1970, Georges Pompidou proposed to implement a reform in this direction with the correlative acceptance of a selection in higher education. (Cf. Claude Lelièvre, school today, O. Jacob, p 226-227). Despite the failure of these reforms, today we do indeed have a baccalaureate which must be worked hard not to obtain; on the other hand, a real selection which does not say its name has been established with Parcoursup.

At La Sauque, we have become aware of this situation and we encourage our students to prepare during their high school years for a quality course in higher education.
